Rinse the rice until the water runs clear. Add to a pot with water according to package instructions and cook until tender.

Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Add ground beef, break it apart, and cook until mostly browned.

Add the green beans and teriyaki sauce. Stir to combine and cook for a few minutes until the green beans are tender and the beef is fully cooked.

Serve the beef and green bean mixture over the rice.
Notes & Tips
Optional homemade teriyaki sauce (14.5 oz total): 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp rice vinegar 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp grated ginger 1 tbsp cornstarch 2 tbsp water (to mix with cornstarch) 1. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer. 2. Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp water to make a slurry. Add to the sauce and simmer until thickened, about 2–3 minutes. 3. Let cool slightly before using.
