Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

Meanwhile, heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pan over low to medium heat. Add the cherry tomatoes, cover, and cook for 7–10 minutes until they blister and can be easily mashed.

Add the goat cheese and let it melt for about 1 minute, then stir to blend into the tomatoes and create a sauce.

Add the cooked spaghetti along with 1/2 to 1 cup of reserved pasta water. Stir until everything is well combined and coated.
